Cheng C. Wang, CES, PES, CMT
Performance Therapist
Since moving to the U.S. from Taiwan, Cheng has been around sports religiously. Being very uncoordinated at 6'2" with a lean & lanky body by the age of 14, Cheng has since been self-motivated and has participated in many training programs. These programs include older programs, such as Air Alert, to newer programs, such as PJF performance. PJF performance helped him add over 25 inches to his vertical leap while teaching him the mix of a "no pain no gain mentality" and the importance of up-to-date science and research-based training, recovery and human body approach.
Currently, Cheng resides in the Bay Area, California and has helped numerous programs, schools, and individual professional athletes including current and retired NBA, NFL, MLB players. Cheng’s also been a proud partner of Hyperice and NuEnerChi, where his work has been spotlighted on the Netflix series Last Chance U, Ball Is Life, World Journal, and etc. Most recently in his career, Cheng contributed to the Nigerian National Olympic Team and Big 3 basketball as a sports therapist.
When not at work, Cheng enjoys an active lifestyle such as hiking, golf, fishing as well as a quiet day of meditation, yoga, reading a book and volunteering at local non-profits.
