Britney Blythe
Advisory Board Member
Britney currently works as a Pharmaceutical Representative for Genentech Inc. Considered as a true "Corporate Athlete" her colleagues describe her as being strong at inspiring and influencing others, and achieving results.
From 2007-2011 Britney was a combo guard for the University of Colorado. As a sophomore she started 15 games for the Lady Buffaloes, 10 of them during Big-12 conference play. Her contributions continued through her junior and senior years with her strong defensive presence and 3pt shooting accuracy. She was described by the Buff's coaching staff as coming from a great basketball background as well as possessing a high basketball IQ and natural floor-leadership abilities. This is not surprising considering her basketball skills were honed over years of training with her father, Donovan Blythe.
Britney is far more than just a D-I college athlete. She was an honor roll student at Colorado, majoring in International Affairs with an emphasis in International Business. She went to high school at St. Ignatius College Preparatory School in San Francisco, where she was a two-time Street & Smith All-American and two-time All-West Catholic Athletic League selection, helping the Wildcats claim back-to-back CIF Central Coast Section Division III titles. Britney was also rated one of the top 100 players in the country by the All-Star Girls Basketball Report.
